This activity runs January -
The introduction to archery group is intended to be a basic introduction to archery
meeting once a month for approximately five months. The goal of this class is to
instruct the children on the basic safety rules associated with shooting archery
equipment and shooting sports in general. Learn to identify different types of bows
arrows and other equipment used for shooting archery and finally to develop the basic
skills to enable them to cast an arrow from a recurve bow instinctivly a distance
of twenty yards hitting the target with a moderate level of consistency.

Children must be a minimum of nine (9) years of age.
Must be a current registered member of Poway 4-
Must have registered on line for the Archery group by 1-
Must complete and turn in a Youth Medical Release Form at or before the first group meeting.
