Our fishing leader is Mike Baucom. He angles in a great group of kids and keeps
them hooked on fishing! Contact Mike and
learn how you may become part of the Fishing group.
Fishing trip scheduled for January 6 has been rescheduled
to March 9 - stay tuned for more details!
February 2 - there is the annual Lake Poway fishing
tourney on Feb 2, at 6 am Lake Poway. FREE, if you need poles, tackle
box,please let me know, or there will be none there for you.Got to
keep them locked in my truck, not a whole lot of room in the cab
Who ever goes camping at Lake Morena and you need a pole or
tackle box, please let me know by thur pm, I will be leaving fri
am. Those coming up to fish, let me know if you need tackle, and
let me know so I will look for you too, I have limited room in the
motorhome, so If don't know, I won't have any tackle for you, also
its FREE fishing for the kids, we just have to do some community
service, [we should anyways] pick up the shore where we are fishing,
thats a good tradeoff!! Wear your club shirts!
February 16 - there is a 1/2 day ocean trip on sat Feb 16, gotta
be at the landing before 6am.PtLoma.Let me know who is interested,I
can pick you up at 5am or so, 1st come 1st served, I have a couple
of spot available.Trying to take the members who have not gone yet,
but I will take a list in case of cancellation
March 9 - the January ocean trip got rescheduled to sun Mar 9,
not my choice, the landing called me to let me know. it was a Rain
Delay. Might be some spots on this trip also.
April 5 - The last trip of the year is sat April 5 at pt loma,
1/2 day ocean trip. I will get you at 5am or so. got a couple of
spots here too.All the ocean trips are limited to me and another
fishing leader, we can take 5 kids Taking names for this now as well.
OK guys,winding down, this makes a total of 10 fish dates for everyone
to take an opportunity to pick and choose the one[s] right for you
throughought the year, looks to be a good end of the year run!!!
